Founded in 1950, Ain Shams University is a public university located in Cairo, Egypt. It was the third university to be founded in Egypt, and it was built on the site of a former royal home called Zaafarana Palace, which got its name from the saffron-growing region around it (called “zaafaran” in Arabic). Presently, the university is spread across seven distinct campuses, all situated in the Greater Cairo region.

In addition, it has various research centers and fifteen faculties. On campus, there are living facilities for college students in addition to sports and leisure areas. The main campus, situated in the Abassia suburb of Cairo, houses the faculties of science, law, and the arts in addition to the university administration.

Among the other faculties that are situated abroad are those of commerce, engineering, medicine, agriculture, education, pharmacy, dentistry, computers and information sciences, education, and nursing. Studying overseas is highly encouraged for Ain Shams students, and the university has a number of scholarly relationships with international institutions, including McGill University in Canada, Monash University in Australia, and the University of Birmingham and Imperial College London in the United Kingdom.

Amenities provided by the hostel and mess for Indian students: All Indian students studying medicine in Egypt have access to first-rate hostel and mess facilities. Both the room and the hostel have good ventilation and amenities.

The largest feature of this university is its expansive, Wi-Fi-connected campus. A student has the option to visit campus if he prefers not to spend a lot of time in his room. Students in each region have access to the mess facilities.

There are foods to suit your tastes, whether you want vegetarian or non-vegetarian food.

Furthermore, the hostel upholds a strict security protocol. You are utterly misguided if you think you can trick anybody.
