Can Tho University (CTU), an important governmental higher education institution in the MD, serves as the cultural, scientific, and technological hub for both the MD and Vietnam. CTU has continuously improved and developed since its inception in 1966. It has approximately 54,000 undergraduate students, 3,000 Master’s students, and 300 Ph.D. candidates.
It currently offers roughly 100 undergraduates, 36 Master’s, and 15 Doctoral programs. Every year, CTU receives students on internship programs from the United States, Belgium, Japan, and other countries, as well as through agreements between their universities and CTU.
