Dhaka National Medical College

Dhaka National Medical College | Fee | All Details | Admission Process

The Dhaka National Medical College inherits its excellent model from the Dhaka National Medical Institute, which was founded in 1925 as a part of the Indian Sub-landmass’ non-cooperation movement against British frontier rule. This movement was jointly organized by the Indian National Congress and the Indian Muslim League, led by Mahatma Gandhi, Mawlana Muhammad Ali, and Mawlana Shawkat Ali. Zamider Raghunath Das donated land for the establishment of the Dhaka National Medical College, which is located near Bahadur Shah Park.

Its creation and foundation were aided by many Nationalists. Under the direction of renowned researcher Sir Prafulla Chandra Roy KBE, the Institute’s First Governing Body was established. Prominent nationalists such as former Begnal Chief Minister Sir Khwaza Nazim Uddin KBE, Dr. J.C. Ghosh, who founded the Ayurvedic Institute, Shadhana Ausadhalya, Roy Bahadur Kashab Chandra Banarjee, Zamider Jogesh Chandra Das, and others were part of the supervising board.

Following registration, the Institute started a four-year long term clinical course (LMF) on modern scientific medication. Additionally, a general hospital was established to provide clinical services to the local population as well as medical instruction for clinical tutees. The Dhaka National Medical Institute Hospital’s Management Board moved to establish one medical college in conjunction with the DNMIH from the very beginning. The long-awaited Dhaka National Medical College (DNMC) finally opened its doors in 1994, thanks to the strong leadership of Mr. Sadeque Hossan Khoka MP, CEO of the Management Board of the Dhaka National Medical Institute and Hospital. The Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BM&DC), the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh are all involved in the establishment of the norms and regulations that Dhaka National Medical College (DNMC) follows.

The Dhaka National Medical College is an association that is neither political nor helpful. The school currently occupies an 11-story building with enough parking. Graduates of the Dhaka National Medical College (DNMC) are eligible for limited enrollment with the UK’s General Medical Council (GMC). They are also eligible to sit for the USMLE, the United States Medical License Examination. The University of Dhaka shapes the governing body of the college for general management matters. The current chairman of the college’s supervisory body is advocate Kazi Firoz Rashid, MP.

The comprehensive plan of the vision to establish the digital Bangladesh 11-flood minister SK Hasina is progressing during his current administration. Bangladesh is a South Asian nation located in the northeastern region of India, in the delta formed by the Ganga and Brahmaputra rivers. India encloses the northern shore of the Bay of Bengal, with Myanmar forming a small, basic periphery to the southeast. In the delta area, typhoons, frequent floods, and tornadoes cause a lot of havoc.
