There are some basic requirements for MBBS in MMC:

  • Age Requirement: At the time of admission, i.e., by 31st December of that year, the candidate must be at least 17 years of age.
  • Educational Qualification: Your core subjects in 12th standard should be physics, chemistry, biology (or biotechnology), and English.
  • Minimum Marks: For General category students, it is mandatory to score at least 50% marks in 12th class. Minimum 40% marks are required for SC, ST and OBC category students.
  • NEET Qualification: It is compulsory for all applicants toify for the NEET-UG exam, without which admission is not possible.
  • There is no need to give a separate test like IELTS or TOEFL for English.

 

Step 1: First of all, you have to appear for the NEET-UG exam and qualify.

Step 2: After the NEET results are declared, check your rank.

Step 3: You have to register online for Tamil Nadu medical counselling.

Step 4: Choose Madras Medical College from your list of colleges in counseling.

Step 5: Seat allotment is done as per NEET rank.

Step 6: After getting the seat, report to the college with your original documents.

Step 6: Pay the admission fees to confirm the seat.
