When it was first opened in 1944 by F.M. Lazarenko as the Chkalov Medical Institute, Orenburg State Medical University is in the Russian city of Orenburg. In 1994, this medical school changed its name to the Orenburg State Medical University based on a decision made by the Russian Higher School Committee. 

The university has all the latest technologies and meets all the standards for higher education.   • Students can stay in one of three hostels that the university offers if they need to. 
  • Not all of the students who want to stay at the Orenburg State Medical University Russia hostel can because there are not enough rooms.
