  • In the UK, students who wish to enroll in the MBBS program must be at least 18 years old.

  • To be considered for admission, applicants must take the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) and achieve a competitive score.

  •  Relevant employment or volunteer experience in a healthcare context is essential to demonstrate commitment and knowledge of the medical field.

  • Shortlisted candidates must undertake a Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) in which they are evaluated on multiple abilities and characteristics required for a career in medicine.

  • Make sure you have the necessary academic qualifications, including high scores in subjects like Biology and Chemistry, and that you score well on the UCAT.    
  • Create an engaging personal statement that highlights your enthusiasm for medicine, relevant experiences, and reasons for choosing UCL’s program. Collect solid references from teachers or mentors who support your suitability for medicine.
  • Submit your UCAS application before the deadline, with all needed documents correctly presented.
  • If shortlisted, you will be interviewed to examine your communication skills, ethical reasoning, and motivation to practice medicine. Successful candidates are given an offer and can secure their spot after meeting all terms.
