The MBBS program in Indonesia normally lasts 5.5 to 6 years. The study pattern often includes:

  • Clinical Phase (2.5-3 years): Students complete clinical rotations in a variety of medical disciplines, including internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, and more.
  • Internship (1 year): A mandatory internship in which students receive hands-on experience in hospitals and healthcare settings, putting their academic knowledge into practice.
